Mission Statement
Mont Lawn Camp is called to minister to the youth of New York City that are caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy, lasting productivity and eternal life through the power of Jesus Christ.

This goal is achieved by:
1.	Meeting campers where they are on their spiritual journeys
2.	Getting God’s Word into campers, and campers into God’s Word
3.	Exposing campers to His Creation
4.	Living in a Christ-centered community together

Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains is a 200-acre summertime refuge for New York City’s most at-risk children.  With a legacy dating back to 1894, Mont Lawn Camp creates new opportunities for children from New York’s toughest neighborhoods.

Our campers experience swimming, boating, rock-climbing, camping, and the close attention of our caring staff for one-week-long sessions.

Since 1894, the purpose of Mont Lawn Camp has been the same: to give New York City’s children a break from the city and to help them grow and change in an environment far removed from the housing projects and dilapidated apartments they call home.  After their camp experience, the children return home refreshed, renewed and possessing newfound confidence and character, and hopefully connected to our many year-round city programs.
